Some developers of I-Phone applications believe they can.

Time Magazine recently highlighted four I-Phone applications which attempt to assist couples who are experiencing marital difficulties:

The PAIRS Foundation DTR (PAIRS stands for “Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills” and DTR stands for “daily temperature reading”) lets spouses share notes in which they communicate five different things about their feelings, hopes and dreams.

Mind Over Marriage provides a range of solutions for common marital problems.  Spouses e-mail their problems to the developer and get back advice.

Marriage Fight Tracker records a couple’s fights and includes a list of the 10 “Nevers” of marital communications, such as “Never Use Sex to Win an Argument.”

Fix a Fight analogizes solving a marital argument to changing a tire.  It takes spouses through eight steps (such as letting the air out, preparing the patch and applying the patch), during which they hand the phone back and forth between each other and explain their side of the story.

Of course, if none of those work, it may be time to see a marriage counselor or get some good legal advice from a New Jersey divorce lawyer.
